Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 25, 2026
Trading Island is a Chrome extension designed to provide financial market information, personal watchlists, and trading profit and loss tracking.
Data Stored Locally
Trading Island stores information such as watchlist selections, P&L calendar entries, interface position, size, and preferences locally in the user's browser using Chrome storage.
Market Data Requests
When Trading Island retrieves market information, the requested financial instrument symbol is sent to the Trading Island backend service hosted using Supabase. The backend may communicate with third-party market-data providers to retrieve the requested market information.
Infrastructure providers may process technical information necessary to operate, secure, and protect the service, such as request metadata.
P&L Information
Profit and loss entries entered into the Trading Island calendar are stored locally in the user's browser and are not intentionally transmitted to the Trading Island market-data backend.
Sale of Personal Data
Trading Island does not sell users' personal information.
